WE ARE SOLD OUT FOR THE 2010 SEASON.  PLEASE CHECK BACK IN JANUARY 2011 TO PLACE AN ORDER FOR NEXT SPRING.

Chicks for mail order need to be in multiples of 25.  This ensures sufficient body heat for the chicks to survive their journey.  Feel free to mix and match the different breeds.  But, the total number of chicks ordered must equal 25, 50, 75, or 100.  Shipping and handling is $35 for each batch of 25 chicks. 

Chicks are shipped weekly on Mondays via USPS Express Mail.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide estimates as to when your chicks will ship.  All orders will be filled in the order they are received.  You will be contacted with a tracking number when your chicks ship.

Ameraucana chick orders will contain both Blue and Black color varieties.  Marans chick orders will contain both Black Copper and Blue Copper color varieties.  We are not set up to sell only one color variety at this time.

All chicks are sold straight run.  Statistically, you should get approximately 50% males and 50% females.  The larger your order, the closer you will get to this 50/50 split.  Much like flipping a coin, you have a 50/50 chance of getting heads or tails but if you flip a coin 6 times, you may or may not get heads 3 of those times . . .
